MyRMX is a well-established cutting edge cell phone gaming company in Santa Monica.
My RMX is looking for a Graphic Design intern to join its creative team. Candidates should be junior or senior college students studying Graphic Design or a related field.
Related experience from jobs, involvement in on-campus organizations, or other internships is helpful. The internship is part-time, ideally 2 – 3 days per week, and days are flexible depending on the workload and the intern’s schedule. The internship is considered an integral part of the Marketing Team and as such, ideas and input from interns will be valued.
While this position will be done from home, we require a once a week meeting as well as constant email, and occasional phone communication.
Intern should currently be working towards a graphic design/art/multimedia degree. We're looking for a creative graphics designer to work on our website and other promo material’s. This job is ideal for creative fresh graduates (or other creative types) who are looking for projects to beef up their portfolio.
Graphic Design Interns will assist with a number of projects to support the graphic needs. |
| Job Requirements |
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Photoshop.
- Knowledge of game/technical art is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with designing for the web
- Knowledge of designing for mobile
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with changing priorities
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong typography and layout skills.
-Attend weekly meetings with the music & business development Team and the marketing team
- General production work such as cropping and resizing images
- Assisting on brainstorming concepts for upcoming projects
- Designing various online graphics and banner ads
- Support the PR/ Marketing team in creative tasks.
Other requirements/important information:
- Minimum of 2- 3 days a week
- Must make a 90 day commitment
- Knowledge/prior experience in PR a plus – but not required
- Prefer students fulfilling college credit/requirements, but those looking for hands on experience welcome
- Ability to multi-task
- Reliable, detail-oriented and extremely motivated
- Brainstorming, Creative
- Pitching/following-up with media and promotional partners
- Candidate will work in a highly confidential environment and must maintain confidentiality at all times.
