Cync Entertainment LLC is now casting for Audition America™. Audition America is an online casting competition and new reality show searching for “America's Favorite New Actors.” Show winners, one male and one female, will earn a supporting role in an upcoming feature film, a $25,000 scholarship to attend the New York Film Academy’s Acting Film School One-Year Conservatory Program, and share over $100,000 in cash and prizes.
Producers are looking for actors with range, star quality and “presence” on screen. Actors will compete against other actors and portray a range of characters in a myriad of genres, including comedy, drama, and horror. Actors will be judged by a panel of industry professionals and must be able to work under tight time constraints. For the winners, the supporting roles in the film will share 85% of the on-screen time with the lead actors. This is not a walk on role.
Begin by registering and uploading a one minute video monologue at
www.AuditionAmerica.TV. You may register and post more than one audition. Once auditions close on Sept. 30, 2010, registered voters will choose their favorite 100 actors by viewing the submitted audition videos and rating them 1 to 10 stars. Our Top 100 will then be narrowed down to our Top 50 by industry judges and show producers. Our judges will then eliminate actors until only two males and two females remain. America will then decide which two actors will earn a minimum five-week SAG scale contract for appearing in an upcoming feature film, the NYFA scholarships, and share over $100,000 in cash and prizes.
