| A well-established cutting edge cell phone gaming company in Santa Monica seeks intern to work in our office. This internship will provide the right person with hands on and resume building public relations experience. Must be willing to make a 60-90 day commitment.\r\n\r\nOur internship offers the skills needed to succeed in Public Relations including writing and pitching, client acquisition, research, working with the media and other special projects.\r\n\r\nPrefer interns fulfilling college credit/requirements but, open to those seeking hands on experience as well. A degree in journalism, public relations, marketing, and communications, New Media or English is preferred; current college students must be in their junior/senior year to be considered.\r\n\r\nMust be a dedicated, responsible, creative, articulate, fun, great sense of humor, personality plus and organized self-starter. The applicant should possess excellent writing and communications skills, be detail oriented, organized, and personable and be able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously.\r\n\r\nApplicant must be Social Networking/Internet savvy. Will be using Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and all social networking to promote and conduct an on line marketing campaigns.\r\n\r\nResponsibilities may include (but not limited to):\r\n- Grass roots marketing and event campaigns, press outreach and promotional partnerships.\r\n- Maintaining database of media contacts.\r\n- Internet Savvy\r\n- Supporting staff by making research to find contacts and follow-up inquiries\r\n- Searching media outlets – print, web, etc. social media networking\r\n\r\n |

| Qualifications we are looking for:\r\n- Proactive go-getter, positive can-do attitude and work-ethic who is hands-on\r\n- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written\r\n- Strong people skills\r\n- Ability to do cold calls emails and writes letters\r\n- Phone Personality and fearless\r\n- Ability to multi-task \r\n- Reliable, detail-oriented and extremely motivated\r\n- Brainstorming, Creative\r\n- Pitching/following-up with media and promotional partners\r\n- Candidate will work in a highly confidential environment and must maintain confidentiality at all times.\r\n\r\nOther requirements/important information:\r\n- Minimum of two full consecutive days a week from 9: am to 5pm\r\n- Must make a 90 day commitment\r\n- Knowledge/prior experience in PR a plus – but not required\r\n- Prefer students fulfilling college credit/requirements, but those looking for hands on experience welcome \r\n\r\nPlease send resume, cover letter. three references, sample of your work.\r\n- Must make a 60-90 day commitment.\r\n- Position available immediately\r\n- This is an unpaid internship for college credit only.\r\n |
