| Job Title: Post Production Coordinator |
| Description |
The Tribeca Film Festival Content Department is seeking an experienced Post Production Coordinator to oversee technical aspects of our production facility and assist in seasonal edit work. We’re looking for a jack-of-all-trades who’s willing to get their hands dirty and multi-task efficiently to enable the delivery of a wide range of material to internal festival departments and various external platforms and outlets.
Working closely with the Director of Content and Content Operations Manager, the Post Production Coordinator will be responsible for:
• Overseeing and helping to maintain our post production facility (Apple’s XSAN file system utilizing Final Cut Server on a 27TB Xserve RAID, editing on Final Cut Pro 7 and outputting using an 8-node Compressor render farm) including Xserves and client edit computers.
• Editing sequences and conforming video outputs to various web services and broadcast video platforms, including digitizing and encoding media from various digital and tape-based formats and outputting to various tape formats.
• Providing technical oversight to streamline workflow for a team of seasonal video editors.
• Providing oversight to team of interns and editors doing QC work on both tape-based and digital media

| Job Requirements |
Qualifications:
• BA or BS preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years working in commercial video post-production. Must be proficient in: Final Cut Studio 3 applications, FileMaker Pro, Final Cut Server, Apple Remote Desktop.
• Understanding of XSAN filesystem, fibre channel networks, managing a Compressor render farm and digitizing using Kona 3 cards required.
• Knowledge of VOD and web encoding, simple DVD authoring, and OS X system administration preferred.
• Applicants with Apple certification in XSAN and/or Final Cut Server will be considered first.
Required personal skills:
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Effective time management and multi-tasking in a deadline intensive environment.
• Ability to interact with a wide variety of technical and non-technical staff, using strong oral and written communication skills
