POSITION TITLE:Account / Business Development Rep
DEPARTMENT:Sales & Marketing
ABOUT THE COMPANY

Truckers Assist is a lead generation company for vendors in the trucking industry across North America. As a service provider, all employees possess strong interpersonal skills, are excellent team players and have the ability to self manage. SUMMARY OF POSITION

The incumbent serves as an integral part of the sales and marketing team. The Account / Business Development Rep is responsible for the marketing of the Company’s services to Trucking and Fleet companies across North America. This position will concerned with generating usage of the Company’s service offering by qualifying potential customers, increasing awareness of the Company’s services, maintaining information in CRM system, handling incoming inquiries and other related job functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the implementation and execution of a strategic marketing plan to achieve business development targets
• Responsible for lead generation/qualification of new and existing opportunities.
• Demonstrate ability to explain company offerings of services, including features and benefits.
• Compile lists of prospective customers based on department/company information gathered from research, tradeshows, advertising and direct mail source.
• Re-qualify leads from tradeshows, advertising and mail source and other activities.
• Document/maintain and update internal database with pertinent information collected from sales and marketing related activities.
• Responsible for prospecting and developing business relationships resulting in increased company awareness through defined marketing strategies (over the telephone, face-face meetings, etc.)
• Collect ongoing market intelligence on competitors (e.g. SWOT analysis).
• Attend training programs necessary to maintain/upgrade skills
• Provide input in the development of marketing materials to support business development

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Reporting to Vice President
Internal/External: Interaction with all levels of the organization
Frequent contact with potential customers, clients and business associates


Job Requirements
SPECIFICATIONS

Qualifications • College diploma/University degree in a related field of Marketing preferred.
• Must have minimum two (2) years marketing and sales experience
• Must have experience with prospecting and lead generation
• Goal oriented to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence and determination
• Must be a self starter and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong team player



Compensation and Benefits Details

• 30 - 35K base plus commission plus bonus
• Health benefits after probationary period, comprehensive health, dental and medical coverage.
• 3 weeks paid vacation
