Job Title: Automation Maintenance Technician
Description
Founded in 2000 by world renowned Art Director and Producer Franco Dragone, the “Franco Dragone Entertainment Group” designs, produces and puts together live shows combining post-modern dancing, music, circus arts and special effects.
Since it was created, the “Franco Dragone Entertainment Group” has garnered the admiration of critics and spectators alike and has enjoyed phenomenal successes with, among others, “Le Rêve”, Céline Dion: “A New Day”.
For its new water show in Macau, Franco Dragone Entertainment Group is looking for an Automation Maintenance Technician :

1. Description:
Reporting to the Head of Automation, the Automation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of the integrated Electromechanical Automation elements and systems and their continued performance requirements. In assisting the liaison between the automation department and related fields to achieve common goals and maintain the strategy of a safe working environment at all times. Additionally the employee will participate in the development of automated systems and interfaces and operational procedures.

2. Roles and Responsibilities:
Participate in the ordering and procuring of department supplies
Participate in long term staffing requirements and rotating schedules for all work calls and maintenance.
Participate in the ongoing development of an inspection schedule for the installations and participate with such inspections regularly.
On a Daily, or as needed basis, maintain and service the Automated Fly systems and Property’s within the theatre.
Maintain a safe working environment by conforming to all established safety policies and procedures; participate in all required safety classes and emergency rescue procedure training;
Work with the teams in developing and implementing safety strategies.
Maintain a flexible schedule for work calls, special events, rehearsals, training, maintenance and evening show performances;
Participate with the Maintenance Department for the successful operation of all facility equipment and showrooms systems.
Adhere to all safety regulations and follow safety procedures.
Have ability to troubleshoot Electrical, control and mechanical problems to enable a smooth and continued show.
Participate in the changes and ongoing development of the show.
Perform other tasks and projects assigned by the Head of Automation.
In general the Automaton Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and operational readiness of the Automated Fly S systems.
The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the resort maintenance department and assist in the free flow of information between partners and contractors.
Job Requirements
4. Qualifications:\r\n\r\nEducation\r\n• College diploma in a related field. \r\n\r\nExperience\r\n• Two years as a special effects technician on a large-scale theatrical production; field experience with repairs of special effects equipment\r\n\r\nOther Skills\r\n• Strong computer knowledge required\r\n• Experience troubleshooting and operating LN2 fog systems, stage smoke/hazers, natural gas flame effects, pyrotechnic effects; appropriate pyrotechnic and flame effects licenses an asset.\r\n\r\n
